Paper thickness

104.7 to 216 g/m²

• [Thick Paper 1]: 104.7 to 157 g/m² (28 to 42 lb.)

• [Thick Paper 2]: 157 to 216 g/m² (42 to 58 lb.)

Printer setup

Press the [Menu] key, Select [Paper Input], [Paper Type: (tray name)], and then select [Thick Paper 1] or [Thick Paper 2].

Printer driver setup

• [Thick Paper 1]: Click [Thick 1 (105 - 157 g/m2)] in the [Paper Type:] list.

• [Thick Paper 2]: Click [Thick 2 (157 - 216 g/m2)] in the [Paper Type:] list.

Supported paper feeding tray

Any input tray can be used.

Make sure paper is not stacked higher than the upper limit mark () inside the tray. When using the bypass tray, make sure paper is not stacked higher than the paper guides inside it.

Duplex printing

• [Thick Paper 1]: Supported

• [Thick Paper 2]: Not supported

Additional cautions

• Print speed is slightly slower than when using plain paper.

• When printing on the reverse side of thick paper that is already printed on, select [Paper Type: (tray name)] [Thick 1: Dup.Back] or [Thick 2: Dup.Back] using control panel or printer driver.
