When Z1 - Z2 is displayed

This section describes how to remove misfeeds from location “Z1” - “Z2”.

  1. Remove the misfed paper from the rear side of the machine.

  2. Pull up on the lever to open the rear cover.

  3. Remove the misfed paper.

  4. Lift the guide board Z1.

  5. Remove the misfed paper, and then lower the guide board Z1.

  6. Close the rear cover.

  7. Remove any paper from the bypass tray.

  8. Close the bypass tray.

  9. Pull tray 1 out completely.

  10. Lower the Z2 lever.

  11. Remove the misfed paper, and then return the Z2 lever to its original position.

  12. Carefully push tray 1 fully in.

  13. Push the button on the right side of the machine to open the front cover.

  14. Close the front cover.
